Editor's Take
Kareena Kapoor Khan and Meghna Gulzar's Daayra give this September 2026 issue a genuine cover story, and having SRK's King trailer, Bhooth Bangla and The Bluff in one month makes it a strong snapshot of a busy Bollywood slate. The review ratings are the most useful regular feature for readers choosing what to watch. The weakness is depth: interviews stay short and promotional, and much of the back half is advertising and entertainment listings. The music, fashion and business pieces are cursory, and the issue reads more like a release roundup than a magazine with reporting. Best for Bollywood fans tracking monthly releases and trailers; readers wanting long-form interviews should look elsewhere.
Strengths
• Kareena Kapoor Khan and Daayra make a real cover story
• Strong slate: King, Bhooth Bangla and The Bluff covered
• Review ratings help readers choose what to watch
• Release calendars and streaming picks are practical
Weaknesses
• Interviews are short and largely promotional
• Back half filled with advertising and listings
Verdict: Selective read — A useful release roundup for Bollywood fans, light on real reporting.
